Gnomes

 Gnomes are a small humanoid generally found living underground in caves, mines or burrows.   Forest gnome live in hollow trees in the dense forest.  Some have become accustomed to living in towns along side of other races, but rarely form towns of their own.   They are very short in stature ranging from 1.5 to 3 feet in height.  They gain a +1  bonus to initially assigned toughness attribute. Most gnomes, in addition to normal vision, have dark vision.  Forest (or wood) gnomes have low-light vision instead.
