Lynn,

I remeasured your tree today in Mohawk Trail State Forest. The statistics are:

Circumference 8.6 feet (32.8 inches DBH)

Height 152.4 feet

Your tree is located in a pretty select group - as it should be. Nearby by are the Chief Arvol Looking Horse, Dave Chief and Paula Horn Trees. Down hill are the Jake Swamp, Joe Norton, John Brown, and Tom Porter trees. All named trees in the Trees of Peace Grove have been named for Native Americans with one exception - your tree.

Monica and I are looking forward to visting you and the North American Bear Center next year in Ely.
