ENTS,

Last weekend I played golf at The Great Southern Golf Club  in Gulfport, Ms. Established in 1908, the course is finally recovered from Hurricane Katrina. The 1st tee is less than 200 yards from the Gulf of Mexico so you could imagine the damage it received on Aug 29 2005. I noticed a fairly large Live Oak on #6 and knew it would probably make the listing. I returned today and played another round and measured the Bobby Jones Oak. CBH-21', Height-51' and Spread-135.5' X 120'. A beautiful tree in its midlife around 200 years old.  I shot a 84 real good for me. A couple of photos of this cool tree just left of #6 green.
