Beaver Cut Trees Barry Caselli
  January 14, 2009

Here's a grouping of trees that were cut down by beavers. This is in an area that's miles from civilization, and hard to get to because the road is so bad
Most of these trees were about a foot in diamater at the spot where they were cut. They were all sour gums and Sweet Bay Magnolias. I must have taken these pictures in the early or mid 1990s. That day was the first time I had ever been to this site. The beavers had two lodges in the pond, and had cut down all these trees (and a couple more). They were very busy.
