Vasser Tuliptree Taken Down - Pictures from the office Jeff LaCoy
  January 07, 2009
Heres a series of photos we have hung up on the wall at the office at
my workplace. Its a Tuliptree removed some time back in the 80's from
Vassar college in NY State, back when our company apparently traveled
out and did the treework for them. Think this one might have been
worth measuring? ;)

And here is a tree that we actually still maintain and care for.
Unfortunately most will never see it, as it is on the private property
of one of the Mass Mutual office buildings. You either need an escort
in, or need an employee ID badge just to get through the gates! I'm
sure we'll be down there for some pruning or storm work at some point
this winter, if thats the case, I'll be sure to try and get some limb
length measurements, see how it stacks up.

Quercus alba.
