ENTS and WNTS, Some photos of my fall trip in 2008 to Colorado near the cities of Trinidad and the towne of Aguliar. I explored a bunch, while there it snowed a little. This part of Col., is a little arrid with lots of rock cropping. The Spanish Peaks are amoung the most beautiful mountains in the state.

We stayed in a camper on private property east of the S.P. about 10 miles. The property is surround on 3 sides by a small range of mountains that rise about a 1000 ft. I've climbed them twice, I took some photos from an old jeep trail of the Peaks to the west. Its was 29 when I started and 55 when I finished, taking about a hour to get up to the summit. Had about 6" of snow so I had to be cautious. They have a lot of Lion, Bear and Deer in this region so you have to been alert. I wanted to flank the summit but it was to dangerous that day. A few photos of the S.P. from different places.   Larry
